The outdoor pool was a highlight; surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas, it was the ideal place to soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip. As a culinary critic, I appreciated the offerings in the on-site restaurant, where local flavors took center stage in each meal. The wellness center provided me with a much-needed massage that worked wonders after days of exploration. With limited beach access, a car is advisable to explore nearby coastlines. While the facilities could use modernization, Golden Bay provides a peaceful atmosphere where you can recharge and savor the essence of Cretan life.
